Lessons are fun and personalized, open to all, including first time beginners, who perhaps have heard the magic of the charango in a ceremonial space and wish to explore their voice through the charango. Then this is the place for you! I’ve been on my path many years and the charango for me is a huge part of that growth, expansion, tenderness, honesty, discovery of self, flowing with purpose, and having music as an accompaniment, both in and out of the ceremonial setting. I look forward to working with you, and expanding our musical paths together.

What we look at in lessons : a healthy amount of beautiful ceremonial/medicine music, how to express one’s self and improvise with the charango as a charango, improvisation, music theory and key centers/portals as can be related to and used in ceremonial settings, tension and release, accompanying people’s processes in ceremony with charango music, exploring the silence between the notes, observing the emotions that arise when playing, learning some sweet songs, connecting with source (composers/receivers/histories/authors/traditions/languages), some Spanish language coaching when applicable, lyrics and pronunciation, warming up to play, and charango tech talk - putting you in contact with great charango makers and fellow charango players around the world.
